Named after the town in which her father was born in Guinea, Djaka Souaré started KINDIA PRODUCTIONS with the first short film she directed: "Jazz in Wakanda." An actress at heart, she decided to start producing the noteworthy stories left on the sidelines that she wanted to act in. Creating entertaining & impactful content with an uplifting like-minded community, reclaiming narratives, reframing generic visuals, challenging the status quo, this is KINDIA PRODUCTIONS.
